About the owner
Starting out in Southeast Melbourne then moving on to the Surfcoast for a couple of years and more recently to Horsham in Victoria's Wimmera region, Mick has served many satisfied customers in both domestic and commercial settings for over 15 years.
With a wide background of experience in various customer focused roles from bar-service to high-end international cosmetics distribution, Mick completed his carpentry apprenticeship and turned his hand to crafting robust yet aesthetically pleasing projects, from gallery style timber partitions to sprawling outdoor decks.
Mick values his customers input and will do what it takes to turn your visions into reality.
When not working, if you can find him, Mick will be out catching a wave on a quiet reef or isolated beach somewhere on Australia's coastline, or hunkered down in his mobile studio honing his music-making skills.

Thanks Mick for doing an outstanding job in building our new deck. Our holiday property is situated two hours drive out of Melbourne and it can be difficult finding a reliable tradesman locally. However, when we spoke to Mick, we were able to find a solution. He was happy to build the deck over a few weekends and kept driving to a minimum by staying at our property whilst doing the work. A BIG, BIG thank you to Michael for not only doing a great job but also for his patience with us during our reno. He was a Godsend for us two reno newbies. Needed to reconfigure existing bathroom layout to create an ensuite and common bath. He took the time out to understand our amateur drawings of the new layout, measured the new walls, old walls that need knocking, new doors that need to be installed, new windows fittings, fixed our floorboards to strengthen the base, as well as demolish old bathroom vanities and tubs. Finished product was exactly what we wanted and good plastering job as well.
We proceeded to have him install a new gate for us and also to build a pergola deck which he has just finished.
The key here is communication, dedication and honesty which Michael displayed throughout all three jobs. We were also very, very appreciative of him giving us his honest feedback in other areas of our reno which was not within his job scope. Having that extra eyes and voice from an experienced tradesman really helped us a lot.
